Giving Children Hope

Cheerity brings hope to impoverished children in Joe Slovo, South Africa, by providing essential school shoes and uniforms. These gifts not only offer dignity but also empower children to attend school with pride and confidence. Join us in making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Joe Slovo

Joe Slovo is an informal settlement in Langa, and in Milnerton Cape Town. Like many other informal settlements, it was named after former anti-Apartheid activist, Joe Slovo. With over 2000,000 residents, Joe Slovo is one of the largest and most impoverished informal settlements in South Africa. Tens of thousands of families are living in wooden and tin shacks, struggling to survive every day.
